About Leshow 2011
From 17 to 19 May 2011 there was successfully held the 14th International leather and fur exhibition LeShow at the Expocentr. 124 companies from 8 countries took part in it: Russia, the Ukraine, Turkey, Bulgaria, China, Pakistan, Indonesia.
LeShow is in the sixth of basic international professional exhibition in fur and leather sector; on the territory of Russia it is the only large professional exhibition in fur and leather industry.
This year, in comparison with the last one, the exhibition space has increased 40% and was about 10 000 sq.m. which says that more and more companies trust LeShow exhibition and consider it a profitable ground for their products’ promotion.
Every year there is an independent statistical analysis, the result of which showed that 90 % of LeShow-2011 visitors were purchasing specialist: representatives of wholesale and distributing companies, large regional chains, stores from over 200 Russian cities and 26 countries. ON THE AVERAGE, ONE PARTICIPATING COMPANY ACCOUNTS FOR 26 WHOLESALERS, AS WELL AS ULTIMATE CUSTOMERS.
This year there is a steady tendency saved to annual geography widening of the visitors: from Kaliningrad, Murmansk and Arkhangelsk on the West and North-West to Khabarovsk and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatka on the East of the country. In comparison with the last year the quantity of regional specialists from North-West, North-Caucasian, Ural, Far-Eastern regions has almost doubled. The part of wholesale representatives from Tatarstan, Krasnodar krai, Volga region, Stavropol krai, Siberia, Black Earth and Central regions and others, CIS countries is large as before; many of them have visited the exhibition LeShow for the first time. *)
The participating companies mentioned the activity of the wholesale and retail representatives who are aimed at mutually beneficial co-operation. 45,77 % OF THE VISITORS EXPRESSED A WISH TO CONCLUDE AGREEMENTS AND PURCHASE GOODS.
It should be mentioned that the part of participating Russian professional companies and manufacturing companies has increased on 50%. This fact proves that the field has overcome the crisis and stagnating period, that the population has the demand for fir and leather industry sector.
More and more foreign companies all over the world participate in LeShow exhibition and according to their opinion, they find their partners among the exhibition visitors. As a whole, all the exponents of LeShow 2011 as well as visitors mention rising the exhibition efficiency. Aside from coming and concluding contracts, exponents and buyers also advise the exhibition to their business colleagues. It is the 4th year that there is the Special program for wholesalers. According to the reports, 90% of the wholesalers are the efficient tool that helps wholesalers to find the interesting product range, and participants – their buyers.
In 2011 the organizer, Turkel Fair Organization, launched a new project, «Trend Area», the aim of which is to help participants and visitors to let join their teams perspective specialists, working in the fur and leather industry.
While existing, LeShow had young designers’ competitions, displayed works of beginners, but it is the first time at LeShow 2011 that “Trend Area” was activated and had professional, career focus.
However, LeShow is not only specialized exhibition, - apart from business component, the every day fashion show of the 2011/12 collections was held on the podium. This year the collection was presented by famous Turkish companies DEMMY-ASFLAS, MODESSAN by GULER, BENOTTI PELLE, D’OGGI –SARAY DERI, SHADE, ESTAMBULIEN-BSL DERICILIK, ARPEL.
The sectors of the exhibition have covered almost all segments of necessary goods of fur and leather industry:
- Leather garments
- Fur garments
- ShipCoats
- Textile clothes with Fur collar,
- SemiFinished leather and Fur
- Headgear
- Accessories (including rare species)
The “LeShow” is characterized with the high organization level, conformed to international standards. LeShow is the only exhibition arrangement in the fur and leather industrial sector which was awarded with the Certificate of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry UFI.
The exhibitors and visitors were provided with all conditions for negotiations, including the interpreting service and Internet access.
But the most important thing that distinguishes LeShow from other exhibitions – the maximum quantity of orders. Among theme-alike events LeShow is recognized as the most successful in Russia, which has high organization level and real feedback for the companies that put the money in for the participation.
“LeShow” – Moscow 2011 proved again that it provides retailers, wholesalers from Russia and CIS countries with various and qualitative range of products, and thus, is one of the best selling tool.
The forthcoming 15th International Leather and Fur exhibition LeShow is held in Moscow, at the exhibition centre “Expocentr” in May 2011.
