LeShow 2010, Moscow
From 18 to 20 May 2010 at the exhibition centre “ExpoCentr”, Moscow, the 13th International Fur and Leather exhibition LeShow was held. There were 103 participating companies from 11 countries of the world: Russia, the Ukraine, Argentina, Poland, France, Italy, China, Pakistan, Australia, the USA.
LeShow – is the only professional exhibition on the territory of Russia in the fur-and-leather industrial sector in area over 6500 square meters.
Annually, there is the independent statistics research, the results of which showed that 90% of the LeShow 2010 visitors were the purchasing specialists: the representatives of wholesalers and distributors companies, large regional chains, stores from over 200 cities of Russia and 20 countries. THEREFORE, ON THE AVERAGE, ONE PARTICIPATING COMPANY ACCOUNTS FOR 25 WHOLESALERS.
This year the visitors’ geography has extended a lot: from Kaliningrad, Murmansk and Arkhangelsk on the West and North-West to Khabarovsk and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatka on the East of the country. The part of regional specialists from Siberia, Ural, Tatarstan, Krasnodar, Volga region, Stavropol, Black Earth and Central regions and others, CIS countries, plenty of which have visited the exhibition for the first time *). The participants mentioned the activity of the wholesale representatives, who were targeted at mutually beneficial cooperation and expressed the intention to conclude contracts.
THE AIM TO CONCLUDE CONTRACTS AND PURCHASE GOODS AT THE EXHIBITION WERE EXPRESSED BY 42,6% OF THE VISITORS.
It should be noted that this year the part of Russian participants has doubled which shows the end of stagnating period in fur and leather industrial sector, trade recovery and deferred demand.
More and more foreign companies try themselves at the LeShow exhibition and if past experience is any guide, they are successful at finding the partners among the exhibition visitors.
It is the third year when the Special program for wholesalers is in force. According to the reports, 90% of the wholesalers are the efficient tool that helps wholesalers to find the interesting product range, and participants – their buyers.
All 3 days of the exhibition were intense and productive for both: participants and visitors, the Buyers’ club was open for negotiations, wholesalers communicated all the time with exponents.
However, LeShow is not only specialized exhibition, - apart from business component, the every day fashion show of the 2010/11 collections was held on the podium.This year the collection was presented by famous Turkish companies KISMET and SAYRAM, and Russian company ROKAR from Pyatigorsk.
The sectors of the exhibition have covered almost all segments of necessary goods of fur and leather industry:
- Leather garments - Headgear
- Fur garments - Accessories (including rare species)
- ShipCoats - Skins and hides.
- Textile clothes with Fur collar,
- SemiFinished leather and Fur
The “LeShow” is characterized with the high organization level, conformed to international standards. LeShow is the only exhibition arrangement in the fur and leather industrial sector which was awarded with the Certificate of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry UFI.
But the most important thing that distinguishes LeShow from other exhibitions – the maximum quantity of orders. Among theme-alike events LeShow is recognized as the most successful in Russia, which has high organization level and real feedback for the companies that put the money in for the participation. The exhibitors and visitors were provided with all conditions for negotiations, including the interpreting service and Internet access.
But the most important thing that distinguishes LeShow from other exhibitions – the maximum quantity of orders. Among theme-alike events LeShow is recognized as the most successful in Russia, which has high organization level and real feedback for the companies that put the money in for the participation.
“LeShow” – Moscow 2010 proved again that it provides retailers, wholesalers from Russia and CIS countries with various and qualitative range of products, and thus, is one of the best selling tool.
